ELECTRIC SPACE GARDENERS - Operatic score CD release by composer Wayne Grim

Hear the bio-enchanting score by composer Wayne Grim based on the speculative poem by Jovi Schnell.

Created for the experimental opera, within eight scenes, the audience learns how the gardeners arrived in the virtual garden, discovering themselves to be a genetically engineered hybrid species, 1/3 Human, 1/3 Plant, and 1/3 Machine. As the performance progresses the ESG detect signs of the ALLMINE virus in their garden, a corrupting entity that consumes and cannibalizes everything within its path. When the three gardeners retrieve and download a solar circadian rhythm bequeathed to them from a Plant Oracle, it destroys the virus, re- grounding them back to their memories of being human.

I'm excited to share my new board game, ANYTHING GROWS! 🌱 is set to transform the El Segundo Public Library into a space for exploration & creativity. I'm inviting players to discover & transform their findings & senses into collage whose shapes will sprout & shapeshift into a Sensory Garden mural for the library. An adult & teen workshop will kick off my residency, really looking forward to what grows up! 🌱🎲 See images of the game being played! HERE

"Circadian Rhythm" featured in Brooklyn's Light Year Projection Series - December 2, 2021

Circadian Rhythm was created between Jovi Schnell /Story & Artwork, Phoebe Tooke /Video , Wayne Grim / Music & Michelle Yi Martin /Projections. Natural Rhythm is an exhibition of four animation videos, four works seemingly unrelated, yet informed by the inherent harmony and dissonance of universal patterns, of natural rhythms, and the ways in which they interconnect, construct, interrupt, and disperse the stories we tell. The exhibition is part of the Light Year series that is streamed online and projected on the Manhattan Bridge. Curated by Michael Lehman .
